I bought my refrigerator on June 2022 and after only 6 months this appliance had begun to make a lot of noise and in the high level there is not to much cold only little cold in the down level , l came to Menard store to let them know , they told me unfortunately l didn't take the warranty for that and l did travel to Africa during several months , when l came back to USA l went again to Menard store to let them know then my refrigerator still make the same noise but they didn't solve my case , after that my friend told me to contact directly the criterion company , that is why l did contact you to solve my case because only in 6 months for the purchase for my refrigerator it did make the noise and there was not to much Cold in the high level , until today the same problem appear .

I need to order a part
Every time I call you 1-800 number it takes me to Capital One. I need to order a replacement part for my washing machine.

Verified Reviewer |Menards sells expensive fridges that don't last but a couple years
Bought one of menards higher end priced criterion fridges alittle over two years ago. Loved the large spaces inside and how quietly it ran.
But then a couple days ago noticed things like sodas and such didn't seem as cold. Well, darn thing went up on me.
Luckily I was home and not on the road and managed to safe most stuff. Sucks damn thing only lasted alittle over 2 years after paying over $1800.00 for it.
User's recommendation: Not to buy criterion fridges. Should definitely last longer than it did.
I've had this gas stove for 8 months and the paint started bubbling off the oven
Okay this oven that I bought 8 months ago the paint is peeling inside the oven it's bubbling up and now it's peeling off. I called the people who make the product the oven and they were pretty reasonable they only problem is I don't drive so Menards wanted to charge me.
$189 and that's just to put it on my porch another 30 to hook it up. I only paid $699 for the stove which is pretty reasonable I'm returning it and I am afraid to get another one but I did look at the reviews and haven't seen anything in the reviews about problems in the oven.
Criterion dishwasher
Everything about this dishwasher is absolutely horrible. Nothing is ever dry when its done , Nothing sits in it very well.
I have hated it from day one. the person that designed this dishwasher should be fired. I totally give it 10 negative stars.
Its a criterion six cycle stainless steel built-in dishwasher model number CDW2FCMS. SKU number is 451-****.

The lint catcher failure
The lint catcher is spreading open from the heat. At first the housing would go back almost to normal position, not now There is so much of a gap it allows socks, wash cloth,any thing small to go inside the lint trap.
The dryer is a large 8 cubic dryer and dries good but big problem with the lint trap !!! Called the company they are not being helpful at all will not buy another one !!!

Bought new in 22 less than a year trouble with it freezing up repaired under warranty 2 yrs latter same issue menards refuse to stand behind it because that model is no longer in production said i should have bought the extended warranty but that wont because parts are not available for it tried to call the costumer service number on the sticker hmm disconnected *** menards!!!

BUILD IT BETTER if you are building it once why not do it right i am on limited income and I would have spent 500 more to get a refridgerator that works i had to pay two times for help this last time neighbor had a 20 yr old fridge that I put in it's mor reliable than the junk you sell it smelled funky and I thought it was me and no it was the damn thing ruining all my freezer food it would freeze then thaw ITS JUNK

Verified ReviewerHad refrig/freezer 3.5 months. I had a choice, freezer or refrigerator. Not both.
I lost over $400 in food. The issue started from day one, as it would go into defrost mode.
I got rid of it and bought a 21.2 cubic foot replacement. Currently, it either refrigerates or freezes. The manual is horrible. I can't get it to refrigerate mode, and the display won't change settings.
Unfortunately, the manual does not explain how to resolve these issues. I've tried to call customer service six times and have left six messages, but they haven't answered or returned my calls. I've sent an email as well but had no response. This company is terrible.
I wish I had known how bad they were before buying.
I'll never purchase from them again. I'm done with the junk they sell.

I have replaced two different ignitors in oven, voltage is 3 + amps and both gas safety valves have continuity. I have found zero helpful info on the web or Criterions site/Menards...is it the control panel, or the circuit board on the back? *** I have no idea and am now saving to replace the junk stove with a Samsung....I'll never buy another Criterion appliance
Purchased a Criterion gas oven from Menards and had constant trouble with the oven igniting when preheating. Constant E22 error on display.
Replaced the ignitor, still not lighting and had continuity with all related components.
The oven is less than 2 years old and I am sick of it and buying one from Costco. Save big money and do not buy this cheaply made appliance from Menards.

We just threw out 100 llbs of salmon that we had caught. We checked the power source and breaker.
Both were fine, but the freezer quit anyway..
This freezer is a total waste of money. We bought a different brand the same day.

Bought this during covid, only one I could find to replace my one thst died. It's now 3 years later it's now dead.
When we pulled out the main coil towsrds compressor looked corroded & leaking coolant. Basement is humidity controlled so whst the heck.
Stay away. Don't buy
Brand new stove, the display does not work
Im trying to call customer service and it wants my credit card number. Youre not getting anything from me. I want someone to call me so I can get this stove that is brand new fixed.

I had a criterion dryer that the motor burned out after 3 years. I live by myself maybe 2 loads a week .Now I have to buy another dryer.
Piece of crap. Never again will I buy a criterion product. I know it won't be long before I have to buy a new washer.

Seen my last entry I’ve contacted both sides (Menards and Criterion) still haven’t heard back from either side. Probably going to just sell it to the scrap guy, still can’t find parts
Needed a stove in a hurry and bought the Criterion at Menard's ($712), big mistake. Should have taken some time and did a little research.
Less than two years and it has stopped working. No extended warranty and unable to find a green board since Nov 2024. I've reached out to both companies for help, let's see what happens.
If I can't find parts the scrap guy said he would give me $12 for it if I bring it to him. So not a total loss?

Go out and buy a new refrigerator. The warranty is one year and long over by now.
You should have contacted the manufacturer when you first encountered the problem.
It isn't their fault you didn't request service in a timely manner. You can still contact the manufacturer to see if there is anyone willing to work on your refrigerator at your expense but you look at other posts on this site you will find that it may be hard to find parts or service for this brand.
